PET Day?
Mario Silva has proposed a Pierre Elliot Trudeau Day. I just can't wait to see the PET Day parade in downtown Calgary.
Thoughts about mostly politics, coming from a University of Waterloo Young Liberal Hab fan.

Living in calgary that would be a sight to behold, although I guess it would be NEP reminder day....we would probably turn it into a week long celebration as to why we vote the way we do.
Not good idea, say I. Even amongst Libearls - not Liberals in Calgary - there is a lot of anger towards Trudeau. I don't think it is a universal opinion that Trudeau was the country greatest Prime Minister - I happen to share the opinion. However, I don't think he was necessarily the worst. Personally I think he was mediocre.
But nevertheless, having a Trudeau Parade down Stephen's Ave in Calgary would be funny. Maybe just to see that I would sign my support to it. Lol. Then again, do I really want to give Alberta Tories another reason to complain about NEP.
Do you think the Mulroney's would celebrate?
Wasn't PET just voted #1 traitor in Quebec?
We need another long weekend holiday, one on the final Monday in October. Something symbolic for Halloween weekend.
ya, we could also call it "Moral Cowardice Day" as well in honor of Trudeau's famous WW2 service to defend liberty and justice.
